Apex is new.
The hands building your pool are not.

We started Apex Pool to build in the Phoenix Valley the way we always wanted to: the owner on every job site, one crew from dig day to startup, and a schedule we publish so you can hold us to it.

Illustrative - not an Apex job site

Why we started Apex

A pool is one of the biggest things a family ever builds in a backyard. It should be built by the people who actually know how it goes in the ground here - not handed down a chain of departments who have never met you.

Most of us have spent years on Valley job sites building pools for other companies. We ran the excavators through caliche, tied the steel, shot the shell, set the waterline tile and troweled the pebble. We learned how a pool really gets built in Arizona - dig day, the pre-gunite inspection, monsoon delays, a 115-degree startup week - and we learned how the big-volume shops treat the hundredth pool of the quarter.

Apex is ours. Same hands, same standards - but now it's our name on the permit, and the owner is the person who answers your call.

Who is actually building it

The same crew, start to finish. The people who dig, plumb, shoot, tile and plaster your pool have done exactly that across the Valley for years - for other builders, and now for Apex. You are not handed off to a stranger partway through.

  • The owner is on the job site. Not a salesperson you never see again after the deposit. The person whose name is on the license is at your dig day.
  • One direct line. Questions go to the builder, not a call center queue. You will always know who to call and where your build stands.
  • A published schedule. We give you the timeline in writing so you can hold us to it - weather days included, honestly.

Licensed, bonded & insured - verify it yourself

Arizona requires a licensed contractor to build a pool, and the license number belongs on the marketing - not buried in the fine print. Here is ours. Type it into the Registrar of Contractors' public lookup and you can check our license status yourself, before you ever sign anything.

Licensed
We hold an active Arizona ROC license for pool construction and pull every permit under it.
Bonded
A contractor's bond backs the work, giving you a formal path to recover if a job is not completed as agreed.
Insured
Liability coverage protects your property and our crew for the entire time we are working in your yard.

Every Apex quote, contract and permit carries this number. If a contractor will not give you theirs, that tells you something.

A written warranty, not a handshake

Before any money changes hands, you get the warranty in writing, attached to your contract. It covers the two things we are responsible for: the structure we build and the work our hands perform.

Structural warranty

The shotcrete shell and the steel inside it - the bones of the pool that are engineered and inspected before we ever fill it.

Workmanship warranty

The plumbing, the equipment set, the tile, coping and interior finish - everything we install and put our name behind.

Full warranty terms - coverage periods, what is included and the few things that are not - are provided in writing with your contract. We would rather hand you the real document than print a number here we have not put in front of you yet.

What Apex is not

Being straight about what we are not is part of being straight about what we are.

Not a 40-pool queue.

We take on a deliberate number of builds at a time so your project is a job we are watching, not a line item on a whiteboard waiting its turn.

Not a chain of handoffs.

No passing you from a commissioned salesperson, to a designer, to a project manager, to a subcontractor you never meet. The crew that starts your pool finishes it.

Not here to tell you only what you want to hear.

We are straight about caliche, access and the site conditions in your yard up front - the hard parts, not just the pretty rendering - so nothing about the build blindsides you once the hole is dug.

What we are: a licensed Arizona builder with the owner on your job site, a published schedule, straight answers and a warranty in writing. We handle custom pool builds and remodels and resurfacing across the Valley. Book your free 3D design consultation.
